Notability[edit]

Why does this need a notability tag? I listed several references, and just added some more. I just don't have time to write the article fully. But he is a well-known TV personality and now a candidate for U.S. Senate with what many people think is a very legitimate chance, so I don't think you can argue about his notability. • I think the notability is questionable. The most notable thing listed appears to be the Emmy win(s), and I think local Emmy awards are not notable awards. Even elected officials are not necessarily notable, and the same would go for local television personalities. With all of that said, there may be more here that would make him notable. I tag articles like this one when I come across them so people can consider issues like these and improve them. If you really think notability is established, feel free to remove the template. Just be aware the next person through might consider notability so questionable that deletion will be considered. That won't be me, though. Erechtheus 21:31, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • He is definitely deserving of notable, considering he is running for U.S. Senate. That makes him "necessarily notable," not because of his TV career, however illustrious. auburnirishman 23:07, 14 June 2007
  • Is Robert "Bob" Brown notable because he got 12% of the vote in the Republican Primary for U.S. Senate in Georgia in 2002? I think not. Not every Joe who throws his hat into a Senate race is necessarily notable. Erechtheus 04:33, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • No, but considering as there are only a few candidates in the race as of now, Cardwell deserves a page. Future public opinion may render this page nonessential. auburnirishman 20:15, 19 June 2007
This article looks like self-promotion by Cardwell himself. Should be cleaned up to be more objective. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.190.195.151 (talk) 22:33, 11 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Untitled[edit]

Nothing here is verifiable. I've followed the links, and it's his press release from 15 years ago on a small TV stations's website. None of the biographic info is confirmed. If this was really a notable person whose family went into witness protection due to being on a "hit list", there would have to be something somewhere about it. There isn't. This wikipedia page is just a advertisement for his business. His websites point to his wikipedia page to verify accuracy, and his wikipedia page points to his website to verity accuracy. It's a revolving circle, with zero evidence that this is a notable person who had anything notable happen to him. I suggest this page should be deleted, as there is nothing here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:348:401:1810:6280:A833:CE80:4B0C (talk) 03:52, 3 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
