Hi AK7. Please note that the initials for DMX has, and will have several meanings depending on context. The rapper is just one use for the letters. There are others uses that are equally important to other people as the rapper may be to you. Lets be fair to everyone and keep the page DMX pointing to DMX (disambiguation). You might note that I didn't actually do the redirect... as I often do, I left a note on the talk page expressing my opinion (which I think is valid) and decided to wait to see what everyone else thought- then forgot all about it :) You might want to talk to User:Ewlyahoocom, who actually did the redirect, apparently because he agreed with me. I still think it's a safe bet that people who type "DMX" int the search box are looking for the rapper. That's certianly the case at Google.--AK7 22:18, 16 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with AK7. I think that DMX the rapper is substantially more notable than any of the other articles on the redirect page. I think we should have it go straight to DMX (rapper) and just have a link to the disambig from the top of that article. Bonus Onus 00:02, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This should stay as a Disambiguation page. The additional meanings are wide-randing and well-written. DMX (rapper) is more popular right now because it's a part of popular culture - but we're trying to write an encyclopedia here, not a journal of popular culture. EMC Symmetrix DMX, a series of high-end storage arrays.[edit]

Does it makes sense to have this entry to the DMX disambiguation page? In IT storage circles it is customary refer to one of these arrays as just a "DMX" instead of "EMC Symmetrix DMX 1000". or does an item in this list need to start with "DMX"? What are the criteria for a listing under "See Also"? Would it make more sense to move the entry here?
