Deagol's Appearence[edit]

what does Deagol look like? --Jingofetts 15:44, 30 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

thanks really helps! --Jingofetts 16:43, 30 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

That's not Déagol, that's Thomas Robins. Use your imagination. 222.126.73.172 01:27, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Deagol's relationship to Smeagol[edit]

What is Déagol's relationship to Sméagol? Njál 14:49, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Relative; not necessarily cousin, but could be. Tolkien only calls them friends in LOTR but calls them relatives in a letter; calling them cousins outright ventures into the realm of fan fiction. Uthanc 06:12, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Origins Of Déagol and Gollum[edit]

Both these articles take the speculation of Gandalf in the Shadows of the Past and present it as base fact, is there a reference somewhere that explicitly states that Gandalf's speculations are spot on? Carl Sixsmith (talk) 19:58, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This was cleared up in the Gollum article if anyone's interested. Carl Sixsmith (talk) 11:39, 14 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
