bread instead of plates[edit]

FWIW, this is not an Italian thing. It's probably common the world over. For example, in the Middle Ages in England (at least) they served their meals on slabs of bread, called trenchers, even at banquets, so we're talking big hunks of bread. Anyway, this struck me as a little insular in its wording. I realize you were quoting from a source, but maybe if you said something more along the lines of "so-and-so speculates/says that..." Gives it a narrower focus without excluding anything else. Zlama (talk) 10:25, 6 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Crostini redirect[edit]

When one goes to en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crostini it redirects to a Chrome OS page. Seems a little silly, I think the foodstuff is a far more common usage. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shamwowny (talkcontribs) 18:29, 7 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
