Bolt Hole?

According to legend he built the strong tower which can be seen in what is now a local park and linked it by a tunnel to his house. This was to run to when his workers eventually got wise and came up the hill to get him. I have no idea if it is true. (it should be) Can anyone substantiate it ? mikeL 13:03:10 ..... 92.238.234.205 (talk) 19:13, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Whereabouts is this tower exactly? Deb (talk) 09:20, 14 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Cyfarthfa park perhaps if such place exists. My information is very thin. I have no local knowlege and the kid who told me may have been teasing. He had lived in the district...... mikeL 16:03:10 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.238.234.205 (talk) 18:52, 16 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think you may be referring to the round towers in Nantyglo, see here for details.. http://thomasgenweb.com/nantyglo_round_towers.html — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.91.172.39 (talk) 12:08, 19 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This refers to the towers at Nant-y-glo. Will add to article. Macs15 (talk) 09:47, 3 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Ironmasters reference

The Crawshay mentioned in the TMTCH song "Ironmasters" is almost certainly Robert Thompson Crawshay, not Crawshay Bailey. Robert Crawshay is buried in Vaynor churchyard and the epitaph on his grave, referred to in the lyrics of the song, is "God forgive me". Scrunge999 (talk) 13:36, 22 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
