I have just found out this page has been extensively edited using this computers info (hacker). I don't know how this has happened but has now been rectified. I'm hoping this will now be the end of this confusing matter.

Replacing Andy Rourke[edit]

I'm sure Johnny Marr has said that Craig Gannon was never hired with the intention of replacing Andy Rourke, and that he had always been intended as a second guitarist. I think it's in the 'Songs That Changed Your Life' Smiths book, but I don't have a copy to hand, so I'll leave it for now. Can anyone else back this up? 80.6.98.250 18:18, 7 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
