Could someone Please add some info on Core Services? Specifically, fsevents, LaunchServices, CarbonCore, etc, possibly explaining the history of each and how they've moved about the operating system (i.e. CarbonCore & fsevents), which ones are in C / Objective C, the purpose of the infamous daemon coreservicesd... there's loads of material! I suppose contacting an expert in the subject (i.e. an actual OS Apple programmer) is mandatory here, but this is a big part of the Operating System.
