a Western?[edit]

I'm not sure how "Cool Hand Luke" could be considered a Western, either thematically or geographically. WilliamSommerwerck (talk) 15:11, 11 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I second this. I would also suggest that the time is wrong for Westerns. It is Crime/Prison is those are genres.--Jrm2007 (talk) 00:34, 25 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

One more point: I believe it is set in Florida, which being on the East Coast of the USA absolutely would indicate that this is not a Western.--Jrm2007 (talk) 23:47, 19 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
