I'm not sure how to approach adding teams or links at the bottom. We also need a nice usable photo--Rbeas 03:45, 29 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

There's a little glitch in the article, I think. It says that the concrete canoe is lighter than water, and while this is true on average (it must pass the swamp test) the concrete mix itself is not necessarily lighter than water. The added displacement required to pass the swamp test is usually achieved by including large pieces of foam at the bow and stern of the canoe (at least that's how it is in the Canadian competition - U.S. ones might be more stringent in their requirements...) 23:26, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

It seems a little bit pro florida at the end, and a list of all the winner for each year would be a good way to show how long it has been going on, and who does well. Buffalodan 20:55, 30 May 2007 (UTC)Buffalodan[reply]

I've been going through an on and off effort to update the page since last week. I will try to get some pictures uploaded and show charts of last years results. I guess this page isnt really visited that often but id thought id take it upon myself to make sure it is updated. Allrightythan22:11, 26 August 2008 (UTC) Allrightythan[reply]

'Here'[edit]

"As competition was developing here in the United States" - is this appropriate? Surely 'here' is PoV? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.147.166.107 (talk) 19:54, 25 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Since then the 'here' has been deleted.

This section has not been updated since 2014. It is incomplete for the past and mostly redundant to the chart above. So I propose to delete this section.
I plan to delete it after January 2nd 2017 if noone contradicts .

I have deleted the section.

One would certainly, and the other would possibly, fall foul of the Gnotability Gnomes. Anmccaff (talk) 16:21, 28 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Question? A help request is open: The bot seems declared a link dead altough the link is in the archive: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Concrete_canoe&diff=prev&oldid=795964963 I didn't know a better way to report so I used this template. The other link is fixed correctly. --Baumfreund-FFM (talk) 07:47, 13 January 2018 (UTC). Replace the reason with "helped" to mark as answered.[reply]
