Denise Hendry[edit]

I think this article should also contain some more information regarding the tragic events surrounding Hendry's late wife, Denise. In 2002 an incompetent Swedish plastic surgeon perforated her colon nine times during a "supposed" routine liposuction operation in which Mrs Hendry nearly died. The mother-of-four then underwent 20 ops to repair the damage and had to live with an open wound in her abdomen! Sadly she contracted an infection after further corrective surgery at Salford Hospital in 2009.

It is obviously too early to say, but considering the recent announcement that Hendry is now bankrupt may have a correlation with the tragedy that befell him and his family.
