Name[edit]

Just as the laser is an acronym for Light Amplified by Stimulated Emission of Radiation, this anti-laser or CPA should be called a "paclaser" for Perfect Absorber of Coherent Light Amplified by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. Pronounced like /ˈpæk.leɪz.ɚ/ or /ˈpæk.leɪz.ə(ɹ)/
