Why would a link to a video showcasing the work of Clive Chin be deleted. It boggles my mind. He was a record producer. The link was to a videoclip featuring photos of him and his music. How can that not be permitted. I am goig to reverse the deletion. above unsigned comment by User:69.158.96.119 at 18:11, March 21, 2008
- While I have every bit as much respect for Mr Chin as you do this link fails to satisfy Wikipedia policy on more than one criterion. Firstly, as clearly noted here linking to unauthorized use of copyrighted media can be considered contributory infringement under US law, and this collage of photos and music clearly is unauthorized. Secondly, desirable links should be meaningful which a mere tribute containing photos and music is arguably not. Wwwhatsup (talk) 09:22, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
How do you know that this collection of photos and music was unauthorized. If I recall correctly, it was a member of the family that posted it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.158.96.151 (talk) 16:34, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
