Additional discography[edit]

The list of recordings omits a very important one, Guilde Internationale du Disque SMS-2590,exact release date uncertain, but probably early 1970s. This disc was awarded the very prestigious Grand Prix du Disque of the French Academy and contains the following works: Luciano Berio: Sequenza IV; Pierre Boulez: First and Second Sonatas for Piano; Anton Webern: Klavierstück "Im Tempo eines Menuetts," op. posth., and Variations, Op. 27. This record label, incidentally, was a French imprint of the Concert Hall Society, most of whose more than 2,000 releases were issued under that label name, and available principally by mail order, which is why they were often not listed in the Scwann Catalog and other publications, and thus regularly missed by discographers. My source for this record is the copy I have in my hand (I own it), and the listing on p. 162 of John Hunt's Concert Hall Society discography recently published (2011) by Travis & Emery Music Bookshop, London.
