Weight?[edit]

Where did Clarice's weight come from, as stated in the infobox? 71.243.181.204 17:04, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm going to remove it; not only is it not important, but I can't remeber any time in the novels when it was mentioned.
PS. I was thinking about making a page for support characters in the Hannibal Lecter series. I think that people like Barney and Ardelia can be on it. I don't think those people need full articles, someone started one for Ardelia, but there simply isn't enough info about her to make an article about it. I don't think there's enough with Barney either, but those characters do to an extent play minor-ly important roles in the stories. Perhaps others like Molly Graham and Dr. Bloom could be on it as well. --Majinvegeta 21:00, 27 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Good idea. Really good idea, actually. By the way, I am the one who made the Ardelia article, and I am also the anon user who used the IPs who has been working on the Hannibal articles for a while, and I finally got an account. Also, should Reba have her own article if you are making this page? Maybe respond on my talk page. Dr. Hannibal Lecter 02:40, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Nevermind, she should, as she is the one who makes the ending of Red Dragon. She sets Dolarhyde off partially. Maybe add Ralph Mandy to the article, though. Dr. Hannibal Lecter 02:42, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

?????[edit]

Why are people adding her current age to the articles? Someone did it to the Hannibal Lecter article too. We never see Starling when she is 49 yrs old or Lecter when he is whatever age he would be today. And also Clarice's middle name is never revealed in either the novel or film series. "Marie" is a fan speculated name, there is no evidence that it is her actual middle name. --Majinvegeta 06:33, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, that was me adding the ages. I won't again. Sorry! As for who added the middle name, I have no clue where they came up with that other than the possibility of fan speculation. Dr. Hannibal Lecter 16:16, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Again, don't worry about it. ;)--Majinvegeta 16:31, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Consistency[edit]

I just noticed that this article jumps all over the place and has mixed facts from the book and movie. Should this article be like the Hannibal Lecter one? (Only state facts from the book?) --Majinvegeta 15:53, 4 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh yes, it should. Good thing someone finally took note of this. Dr. Hannibal Lecter 23:01, 4 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

trivia??[edit]

gillian anderson stated in an interview @ one point that she had based her Dana Scully character on the X-files on jodie foster's portrayal of Clarice Starling. would that bit of trivia be worth putting on this page, i wonder? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bdogg7 (talkcontribs) 19:37, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted reason for Foster not appearing[edit]

I deleted the reason for Foster's non-reprisal of the role of Starling because it is contradictory to the reasons given in the main article about Hannibal, and the subject is covered in much more depth in the other article.

Fair use rationale for Image:Claricestarlinghannibal.jpg[edit]

Image:Claricestarlinghannibal.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
