Restating a comment I made elsewhere: I see mention in the article that a newspaper states the architect was a Mr. Williamson from Nashville. The house was built in 1873. I searched the National Register Information System database and found two NRHP-listed places that might be designed by the same person:
The NRHP document for the latter gives info on other houses designed by the firm, e.g. "In 1871, Dobson and Williamson were the architects who designed the residence of Judge John Lea at the
corner of Vine and Union." And it clarifies that P.J. Williamson was one of the partners. By the location and dates, it looks to me reasonable to assume that the Church House was designed by Peter J. Williamson. There is in fact an article already about Peter J. Williamson, and the article already mentions "Church House" as being one of his works! I see that Dobson & Williamson is currently a redlink, should perhaps be covered in the P.J. Williamson article and should be redirected. --doncram 02:15, 11 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
