Does this source actually have the information?[edit]

I'm not seeing anything, but I'm at home where my Internet is slow and something might be there that I can't see. There is little or no information on the site that I can see.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 19:29, 7 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

That reference is in the very first version of the article, and is cited as a refererence for the statement "It was written by Lee Mendelson and Vince Guaraldi." It's correct as far as that goes, but the article has been edited and the reference moved so much that it's certainly not material to anything else in the lede. I'll move it back to its original position, where it serves adequately as a reference for its initial premise. TJRC (talk) 00:16, 8 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I should have thought of that. I've seen so many people add information before a reference which was not supported by that reference, meaning what the reference supported became separated from the reference.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 17:03, 9 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
It also seems a pretty sketchy source; the authorship isn't really in doubt, but there should be a better source. I found one at BMI (BMI has licensing authority over the work, [1]), and used that in its place. TJRC (talk) 01:41, 8 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This page is pretty much just cover versions.[edit]

The majority of the page for this song is just covers. I don't know what to do about it, but this page needs a major overhaul. I'm not saying "remove the section" (although it could probably stand to lose some entries), I'm just saying there needs to be more about the actual song itself. 76.14.196.233 (talk) 20:00, 3 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
