"War Memorabilia" - isn't it specifically Nazi memorabilia?[edit]

I heard this in about 1984, but I am reluctant to include it in the article without a source. Maybe this is good enough: [1] . The emphasis should be not that he is a Nazi (which could be libellous and difficult to substantiate) but on what he is interested in collecting. 24.183.22.42 (talk) 23:09, 7 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Going from memory, I think he had a shop in Islington called Call To Armsand dealt with all sorts of war memorabilia but Nazi stuff did/does tend to be the most sought after/collectible. It was around the time that Siouxsie Sioux was wearing a swastika armband and everyone was getting a bit twitchy about whether it was appropriate to use any of that imagery: the NME was quite 'right-on' at the time and made a point of 'exposing' his activities. In keeping with true British wartime spirit I think he just told them to eff off and carried on. Twizzlemas (talk) 12:37, 28 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
