Does this need to be in the article, it really has nothing to do with bosh.

In exchange for Carter, Toronto received two first round draft picks, small forward Eric Williams, and centers Aaron Williams and Alonzo Mourning from the New Jersey Nets; Mourning did not report to the Raptors, who later bought out his contract. Joey Graham, on whom the Raptors used one of the picks they received from the Nets, is now playing alongside Bosh.

I've removed the following paragraph:

This kind of statement can't simply be asserted--it is expressing an opinion. Who says that "Chris is developing into one of the top forwards..."? Sports Illustrated, or some writer? Who refers to him as CB4? Answer: just about everybody. Nothing 'official' or 'concrete', which you seem to alude to want, but it's a generalised view. Likewise, it's a generalised view that Chris is both a developing forward in the East and is similar in style to Garnett. I don't believe such a statement requires a quote when it is quite obviously the general view.

Who 'quoted' LeBron James as being the next big thing? Nearly everyone, hence no need for a direct quote. Same goes with Bosh.

You're right. However, LeBron James says, " "King" James was already on the covers of Sports Illustrated and ESPN The Magazine. Celebrities such as Shaquille O'Neal were attending his games, a few of which were being televised nationally on ESPN2 and on pay-per-view", along with some other related statements (several paragraphs in LeBron James#High school, for example). This article could use a good-sized expansion to mention what kind of exposure he got while in college. I am from Toronto and have been a fan of the Raps since long before CB4 arrived and I've never heard anyone in Toronto refer to him as "Swish Bosh".

GA comments

If you can include a little of his early life history that would be great, this should be easy as he is so young. With the modern growth of the internet it's so much easier to find info about current players (I'm having a real hard time over on Lawrence Taylor finding info about his early life). Something like, "Chris Bosh was born to Tanya and Jamal Bosh in the suburbs of..." or whatever and rename the first section something like "Early life". Then put a little info in there about his childhood like if he had any siblings, if he idolized a certain athlete growing up, if he played other sports, or what kind of a student he was. This stuff is very important for the general reader who isn't as interested in basketball. The off-the-court life could use a little beefing up as well. Quadzilla99 14:39, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

First playoff berth?

In the first article, should it not say either "...to his first NBA Playoffs berth..." or "...their first NBA Playoffs berth in five years..." As it stands, the article implies the Raptors have never played in the NBA playoffs.

It is not mentioned that Bosh injured his face, thus missing the end of the season, anywhere in the section of the article dedicated to last season.
