I object to the deletion of this page. It was a landing like most of the ones on that river for the local settlers (mostly prospectors and miners) and a woodyard for feuling of the steamboats which were the primary means of transportation and the only way to bring in needed mining equipment and ship out ore for processing. The woodyards had crews of wood cutters there to cut down trees to supply the yard or provide wood for others. Also there were also men to stack wood in the yard and load or unload the boats.Asiaticus (talk) 06:03, 14 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
