I was driven to create this page when I encountered the first sonata in the books by Denes Agay. There is no composer who fits the life dates suggested by Agay and I have assumed Agay's sonata is by the Wilton described here. I would be very grateful if someone could pop into the British Library and confirm that Agay's sonata is one of the six sonatas of this Wilton. It could also be in A Set of Eighteen Lessons by Wilton. Please check. Peter Mercator (talk) 20:53, 5 March 2014 (UTC) 18:39,(UTC)[reply]
Excellent. I grew up 6 miles from Gloucester, but of course had never heard of him. Please do fix the 1870 date! If you have the score, and it has not been mysteriously returned to copyright jail, please upload to IMSLP. Imaginatorium (talk) 19:02, 5 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
