Untitled[edit]

Unless there are two painters with the exact same name, I think this entry may be in error. There is an American painter, Charles Caryl Coleman, who died in 1928 and spent most of his life on the island of Capri, Italy. There may be an British painter, Charles Coleman, as well, as described in this entry, in which case only the middle name need be deleted from the entry. I'll try to check.Jeffmatt (talk) 04:36, 14 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

References[edit]

Does anyone object if I tidy up the references for this article, adding inline citations and converting to list-defined? If not, I'll probably do so in a few days from now. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 00:07, 5 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

TV engineer[edit]

I found this name in an article on video tape history, and searching Wikipedia found nothing at all on his existence. There is a tiny possibility my entry is redundant because he's the "director" as well, but I doubt it since the TV engineers of 1957 were probably too busy and talented to also be directors; also, my source says he was hired from his TV station by Ampex, who had no need for directors.
