Year and place of birth[edit]

This article states that Wakefield was born in September 1980 in East-Sussex, however according to IMDB, she was born in 1981 in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. I did a quick search with Google, and I found both sets of data. (I suspect that for some pages that I found on the internet, the source for the place and date of birth has been Wikipedia.) Could we get some trustworthy information about her year and place of birth? LeRoc (talk) 08:19, 14 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The IMDB entry is based on her registration record (which can be seen online at Free BMD Index). However it is important to note that births are registered and recorded according to registration district, not actual place of birth. Tunbridge Wells is very close to the border East Sussex, and her birth may well have been registered there even though she was born somewhere in East Sussex (the article later refers to her mother returning to EAST Sussex).
