Rewrite[edit]

I have tagged this article for a complete rewrite. This needs to achieve two things:

An encyclopaedic tone.
All content to be backed up by references.

Unreferenced anecdotes about people saying "fuck" don't cut it in a serious encyclopaedia! --DanielRigal (talk) 21:25, 1 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

While I'd agree that an exact transcript of the incident is probably unwarranted, I think the crash is worth mentioning as an example of the extreme danger inherent in the gap. The first of the references seems to be dead. That only leaves one remaining reference. This needs to be improved.
