Plot Summary[edit]
Okay, the plot summary section needs to be heavily edited or possibly re-written entirely. grammar errors abound, and the story is difficult to follow. I would guess that English is not the writer's first language due to the way it is written.
If folks agree with the above but no Wikipedia editors want to do the editing/re-writing, I would be willing to fix it up.
Cast[edit]
I remember reading somewhere that Jo Gibb's singing voice was overdubbed by another actress for the "Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer" sequence. Is there any truth to this? -- Annie D 07:26, 9 July 2007 (UTC)

I think that the video in and of itself could have been done better. It was implied in the cast list that both Jo Gibb and Drew Varley were dubbed. In fact, they did their own singing and all that was dubbed were Rumpleteazer's giggles and Mungojerrie's shushes. It's unclear why they were dubbed - possibly they had to be added in post-production and it was inconvenient or impossible to get hold of the original actors just for that. Image copyright problem with Image:CatsGroup.jpg[edit]

Audience[edit]
I wondered if this film was shot in front of a live audience? Doesn't seem like it, but I think that should be mentioned in the article. Zaglabarg (talk) 00:31, 12 March 2010 (UTC)
No there was no audience present, the show was done at one of the West End theaters in London (Not sure which one) and the only people that were present were the cast members, the stage crew, the director and producers overseeing the performance on the stage and the producers and directors for the film. As I am to understand the entire production was done straight through, that is to say as if it were a live performance (sans a live audience of course) and there was no stopping and starting because if they did then it would mess up the continuity of the filming. 96.243.189.48 (talk) 03:45, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
This 9it being filmed in one take) cannot be the case. It was not filmed straight through as there are several inconsistencies with where background cats are throughout the show.
