Note on previous article[edit]

An article on Cassey Ho was previously deleted in August 2012 Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Cassey Ho. I never saw that article, but since then, there have been several reliable sources establishing notability warranting the creation of an article for her. I discovered her while searching for sources for the article thigh gap. --I am One of Many (talk) 07:20, 24 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see what makes this individual noteworthy. Nothing about her education or career is "encyclopedia noteworthy". Whether seeing something in an ad is noteworthy would depend on how much attention it gets, but it seems like there is exactly one article about this topic that references Ho. Does a single Forbes article someone noteworthy? (A few other articles mention her, but not anything noteworthy about her.) The ABC News citation does not mention her at all, which it certainly would have if she herself was considered noteworthy. 2601:D:CB80:97:5C72:D2C0:3DEC:E877 (talk) 04:14, 28 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

She is notable for the same reason any subject is notable - she (and her business) has received significant coverage in multiple reliables sources. Such coverage need not be mainsream (e.g Forbes), as speciality sources (e.g. the several entreprenuerial magazines used) are sufficient to establish notability as long as they are reliable sources. (Usually having editorial control, as is the case in the sources in question, is sufficient to establish reliability.) See WP:N. --ThaddeusB (talk) 15:52, 12 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Neutral point of view[edit]

This article has a lot of material that is subjective beliefs and opinions rather than just facts. I don't know anything about the fitness industry, but I wish someone who does would remove some of this, which seems to be promoting a point of view. —Anne Delong (talk) 13:25, 28 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It is a biography, so we typically include a person's beliefs and opinions, which are facts about her. Could you be more specific where the article promotes a point of view that is not reliably sourced and not her's? --I am One of Many (talk) 14:29, 28 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because... This article is over a 3x increase in size and is not at all the same as the previous article with a large number of new reliable sources. It was moved into article space by ThaddeusB --I am One of Many (talk) 19:03, 28 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Cassy Ho's name[edit]

There is an unreliable source http://www.wingsof100viet.org/cassey.htm, which appears to give a different name with an apparent picture of Cassey Ho: Ho Vinh Cassey. Besides being an unreliable source, the order of name is not first, middle, and last. Ho is the last name and Cassey is the first. So, please do not introduce unreliable and false information into this article. --I am One of Many (talk) 18:16, 15 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
