Please help me out here![edit]

I am an editor who has seen many pages deleted due to a lack of notability of the subjects. So when the tag came up, I was dismayed but not disappointed.

In the grand scheme, Blackburn may not be famous enough to be in this encyclopedia. However, I feel that his recent debut on CBS Sports, covering the NCAA basketball tournament, was a big deal. As far as I'm concerned, if you call at least one game of the tourney as a broadcaster, you're famous enough for Wikipedia.

I will seek his bio on CBSSports.com and add that to External Links if I can find it. I will also hear out legitimate reasons against my argument. Obviously, not everyone agrees on what or who is famous.

In the meantime, I implore you not to delete this page. Give me a chance to do what I can to keep this page online.

Thank you. - Desmond Hobson (talk) 21:51, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • UPDATE: I have added the CBS Sports link and am asking for permission to remove the tag. - Desmond Hobson (talk) 15:16, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
