IPP mistake?[edit]

Reaction diagram reads "isopentyl pyrophosphate". Shouldn't that be "isopentenyl pyrophosphate"? 172.58.8.188 (talk) 19:27, 11 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Revision of June 8, 2023[edit]

I commented out a large portion that seemed off-topic or WP:UNDUE dealing with oxygen transport by carotenoids. The German article does not mention this theme. Here are the sections to the portion removed: Transport; Storage ; Respiration; Synergetic modality.

Otherwise the article was refocused onto biochemistry and off dietary aspects, especially in the lede. The large biosynthesis section was moved to the bottom. The article would benefit from an expert for sure, I am not an expert.--Smokefoot (talk) 15:28, 8 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
