External links incorrect[edit]

The links to the evidence regarding the statements about the Order of the Holy Sepulchre (Ordo Equestris Sancti Sepulcri Hierosolymitani) link no. 18 and no. 19 are incorrect and refer to a Chinese company page and to a tourism link.

The only correct link to the Order of the Holy Sepulchre (Ordo Equestris Sancti Sepulcri Hierosolymitani) is the link to the Vatican page about the Order:

http://www.oessh.va/content/ordineequestresantosepolcro/en/chi-siamo/histoire.html

From which it is also quite clear that the Canons Regular of the Holy Sepulchre (Fratres Cruciferorum Ordinis Canonicorum Regul. Custodum SS. Sepulchri Hierosolymitani cum duplici rubea Cruce) and the Order of the Holy Sepulchre (Ordo Equestris Sancti Sepulcri Hierosolymitani) were two different orders.

Sources for future article expansion[edit]

Inter alia, there's more at the Hamilton source about the origin and medieval traditions of the canons. — LlywelynII 09:49, 26 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

inadequate sources[edit]

Dear Wikipedians,

badly the sources for Order of the Holy Sepulchre based only on weppages and not on historical books. In fact the Order the Holy Sepulchre (Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem) was never organisated as Order with a common religious life before 1868, like the Canons Regular of the Holy Sepulchre.

He was get a structure as Order with a common religious life first in the year 1868 at the suggestion of Patriarch Valerga and was approved by Pope Pius IX(2).

And the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Miechów, Poland is not associated with the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre, she is associated with the Order of the Canons Regular of the Holy Sepulchre. Because of this the Canons Regular of the Holy Sepulchre was called in Miechów as Michowitter.

Pope Innocent VIII (1484-1492) at the instigation of the Order of Malta on March 28, 1489 a bull, with the disbanded of the Order of the Canons Regular of the Holy Sepulchre and should be transferred to the Order of Malta. The independence of the Order of the Canons Regular of the Holy Sepulchre was maintained at the request of Emperor Maximilian and Duke Eberhard of Württemberg and 1499 and with a bull of Pope Alexander VI(1). approved.
