There is two sets of running lights. I believe one set is for temperature and the second set is for barometric pressure. I can't find information to confirm this, but have seen them running in opposite directions.

I think it should be mentioned that it has been widely rumoured that the weather beacon was designed as an airship mooring post. It isn't true, of course, but I think it should be mentioned to clear up this urban myth. I disagree that the Canada Life Building is Beaux Arts, it is more Art Deco with little Beaux arts. --72.136.202.63 (talk) 09:56, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
