Merge Discussion[edit]

Against. Also on the Chartered Financial Analyst page - the Institute oversees other programs beyond the CFA charter, has its own history. One comprehensive article would be more confusing. Gary 17:28, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Non-profit organization[edit]

Is this a non-profit organization? If so, it should be made clear. Cristo39 (talk) 15:06, 6 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think so too, especially as they do not boast about this as open as I would have wished - but was reverted... --Magic2nd (talk) 12:20, 12 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
It's presented clearly as the second fact in the infobox. The comment you are responding to was written when the article had no infobox at all and the word "non-profit" appeared nowhere in it. Pinkbeast (talk) 12:27, 12 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

History[edit]

The History section can also be put in, earlier the CFA Institute was known as AIMR, and how the name changed to the CFA Institute. Kidakaka (talk) 11:03, 28 August 2012 (IST)

Remove United Kingdom or specify cities in United Kingdom[edit]

It doesn't seem accurate to have all other items in the list be cities or city-states but the United Kingdom is included when it's a country. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.140.65.203 (talk) 02:19, 23 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I think that just reflects the organisation of the member societies. Pinkbeast (talk) 22:24, 2 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
