Cancer[edit]

Please, don't edited that, people need to know she had Cancer, thank you.-CharliTa

Please[edit]

Please do not change sourced information, like Brooke seeks her mother as a hero, and she cancer. AquariusBoy01 10 August 2007

No heel turn[edit]

Brooke didn't have a heel turn just because she did the loser sign, Torrie Wilson could do the loser sign to Victoria and that wouldn't mean anything, lets see whats happens the following weeks if she has done mean things you may put it back. --AquariusBoy01 12:26, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I recently heard Brooke got released and Melina had something to do with it, It was about how Brooke wore furry boots to the ring on the Halloween Divas Battle Royal, and Melina thought she was somewhat stealing her character's "Vibe"! but, that wasnt the only reason, a while ago, Brooke has been rubbing off others the wrong way and this little "BOOT" problem gave her the boot!, Melina went as far as requesting her release to Mr. McMahon... im not a thousand percent sure about this but this is the only lead i have... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.74.9.58 (talk) 11:37, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Trivia[edit]

I added a trivia section talking bout how she never won a match in her whole WWE career. Please correct me if i am wrong. Also, if she has never won a match throughout her career as a Wrestler, then we will add that, P.S, im not making this just to jest Brooke, im just baffled on how WWE had never gave her a shot at winning a match-up -ChristoCracker 21:30, 2 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Too be fair, she only ever took part in Battle Royals. So she wasn't going to win them. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.188.228.181 (talk) 16:34, 5 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, but what about her matches in OVW? -ChristoCracker 21:16, 8 November 2007 (UTC)? P.S i realized she debut last November and got released this November, a whole year without winning a match.... -ChristoCracker 21:16, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Brooke has sent a message out to say that she will be debuting in TNA and going to be in Playboy —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kylieb19 (talkcontribs) 02:31, 12 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Brooke Adams (model)[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Brooke Adams (model)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "OWOW":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 03:44, 24 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 1[edit]

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: move the article, per the discussion below. Dekimasuよ! 23:39, 26 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Brooke Adams (wrestler)Brooke Tessmacher – Achieved most success under this name. 1 Knockouts Championship and 1 Knockouts Tag Championship as Brooke Tessmacher. Miss Tessmacher is the short form. She had only 3 televised matches in WWE under the name Brooke compared to the 61 televised matches in TNA. This is also a natural disambiguation. starship.paint ~ regal 02:11, 20 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support per Paint. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 18:23, 20 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support Her run in WWE was relatively short, she was on the C brand there and was overshadowed by Kelly Kelly and Layla. She's been a massive player in TNA's knockouts division, and even got some main event exposure with her run with Aces & Eights.LM2000 (talk) 21:19, 20 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 2[edit]

The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section.

Brooke (wrestler)Brooke Tessmacher – Per WP:NCP, Tessmacher is a well-known ring surname. Therefore, it cannot be disambiguated by parenthetical disambiguation. Instead, natural disambiguation should be used. George Ho (talk) 07:47, 6 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This should be a revert request on RM. What you're asking for is the name that was already decided on a month ago, then someone else moved the article again. Do a technical request. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:D:3080:EA2:9C00:8FED:2AAC:FD97 (talk) 11:10, 6 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Who the hell changed the name? Revert to Brooke Tessmacher, not necesary a resquest. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 21:34, 6 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Procedural comment. I have asked for a revert at WP:RMTR. It was removed once because this is already "under discussion" here, so I've removed the RM tag from this request. I don't see any reason this shouldn't be able to be processed as reversion of an undiscussed move, but since I closed the previous request, I will let someone else do it at WP:RM. Title, Lede & MoS[edit]

Fellow Wikipedians, The text of the article as we currently have it does not align to the article title following the requested move. I am considering that we should revise the lede to include Brooke Tessmacher as the subject of the first sentence (per MOS:LEAD). If there are no objections, I will update the text to the following:

Brooke Tessmacher is a ring name which was used by Brooke Nichole Adams[1] (born December 4, 1984)[2], an American model and professional wrestler. She currently works for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling under the ring name, Brooke. She previously worked for World Wrestling Entertainment, appearing with Kelly Kelly and Layla in the dance group Extreme Exposé on the company's former ECW brand. She is a former two-time TNA Women's Knockout Champion and a one-time TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champion with Tara, known collectively as TnT.[3]

Brooke TessmacherBrooke Adams (wrestler) – Current title fails WP:AT recognizability naturalness conciseness; current title fails WP:COMMONNAME in that it is not the name by which the subject is now commonly known. Current title causes MOS:LEDE to be strained; either by not including the title in the lede, or by requiring convoluted language. - Ryk72 'c.s.n.s.' 05:23, 17 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I did note that the previous RM closed in favour of the current title, but considered that we might not have achieved a wide enough consensus with only 2 !votes and also note that it is now 7-8 months since that RM; in that time the subject has considerable coverage not using the Tessmacher name. - Ryk72 'c.s.n.s.' 08:11, 17 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Update changing the RM target to Brooke Adams (wrestler), per discussion below. Please note that this, and Brooke Adams (model) already redirect to this Article; and Brooke Adams is a disambiguation page which includes the Brooke Adams (wrestler) redirect. - Ryk72 'c.s.n.s.' 09:09, 17 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose "Brooke (wrestler)" - The consensus in previous RM said yes to surname. Also, it's neither obscure nor made-up per WP:NATURAL. --George Ho (talk) 07:14, 17 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hi George Ho, Thanks for your input on this; greatly appreciated. I am not overly committed to the Brooke (wrestler) alternative; more looking to have a discussion here instead of the move & revert in the last couple of days. Would Brooke Adams (wrestler), including the subject's actual surname, be a better alternative? This would give a disambiguation from the existing Brooke Adams (actress) without requiring the current contortions re: lede & title mismatch. - Ryk72 'c.s.n.s.' 08:11, 17 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Consensus in the other previous RM discussion agreed to replace "Adams" with "Tessmacher". I added "old moves" template above. --George Ho (talk) 08:39, 17 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Also oppose Brooke Adams - According to past RM, her stance as "Brooke Adams" in WWE was short-lived, so she has been more publicized as "Brooke Tessmacher". George Ho (talk) 15:49, 17 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose move - how does the title fail WP:COMMONNAME? Or recognizability naturalness conciseness? There's no explanation at all. The report for the most recent episode of TNA Impact Wrestling, where she won the Knockouts Championship for the third time, calls her Brooke Tessmacher. Her TNA profile page mentions Brooke and Tessmacher. starship.paint ~ KO 06:58, 19 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose move She wrestled in TNA as Brooke Tessmacher, sometimes she's presented as Brooke or Tessmacher, but the ringname stills Brooke Tessmacher.--HHH Pedrigree (talk) 11:41, 19 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose, if a change was appropriate a more descriptive disambiguation would be "... (pro wrestler)". GregKaye 06:06, 20 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose (wrestler) is the appropriate disambigulator per consensus at Talk:Bayley (wrestler) but Brooke Tessmacher is the common name in this case.LM2000 (talk) 08:09, 25 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
