Air recognition symbols[edit]

Would someone with specific knowledge and a reliable source be able to add clarity to the vague descriptions of preferred placement and direction of allied stars in the above section? Thanks. 2A00:23C5:C38B:5700:BCB2:213:C9F6:F48B (talk) 14:25, 17 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Additionally, someone should clarify the contradictory measurements for RAF roundels as air recognition symbols. Quote: "It was 31in wide...[with] a 6in yellow surround, a 10in blue band, a 10in white band, and a 5in red centre." Either the yellow band is actually 3in and the blue and white bands 5in wide or the over all diameter would be an improbable 57in! 2A00:23C7:1E11:6300:A949:D9B9:9BC2:E70C (talk) 17:24, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
