In Swedish, it is Nils Simonsson. Which one is it, Lars or Nils? --Ehitaja (talk) 09:24, 6 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Also, in which war and which battle did she die? The "sv:Nordiska tjugofemårskriget" started only in 1570. In 1569, there seem to have been no open hostilities between Sweden and Russia. There were conflicts between Swedes and Danes, but the only one in Livonia (in loose interpretation) I found was Livonia was when Danish admiral Peter or Per Munck bombarded Reval from sea in July 1569. Was that the one or was she just a mercenary for some other power? --Ehitaja (talk) 09:36, 6 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

She was in the Swedish army as the King saw to it that they army payed out her salary to her family, if I understand it correctly. I wonder if it was the Livonian war (which was between Sweden and Russia) or simply the war in Livonia, for there was as you say also warfare between Sweden and Denmark in Livonia: there was plenty of fighting between Swedes and Danes in Swedish Estonia (mentioned here too 1569 in Sweden), and it seems as if "Livonia" was often used as a word for the Baltics in that period.--Aciram (talk) 22:47, 23 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
