Disqualified template in medal table[edit]

Providing my thoughts from the edit history. I saw these edits and thought I would weigh-in. The disqualified template is used for athletes who won a medal but were disqualified for doping (or a teammate's doping in relays, team play, etc.). It is not used for every athlete who was disqualified, but those who competed and won medals. Athletes who did not compete at an event also do not use this template, examples of this and correct usage can be found in Doping at the Olympic Games. Since Harris did not compete at the 2024 Scotties, nor did her team that she would have competed with win a medal, none of this is relevant for the medal template in the infobox. Do let me know if this makes sense or if there is a disagreement? Thanks to all of you editors for all of your great work and diligence, always appreciate your work on Wikipedia, especially when it comes to writing great curling articles! I was trying to find a policy on it here, but couldn't find anything. But looks like most people are opposed to its inclusion, so I will back off. Cheers.-- Earl Andrew - talk 20:14, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
