Need for Followup after History Merge[edit]

Comparison of the latest versions of the two histories that i merged shows material added under the bad title, that may not simply duplicate what was added under the good title before the merge. To wit,

bad title used {{Tl:Mlbplayer}} whereas the current revision of the history-combined article has a non-transcluded rough equivalent table, and
bad title had a different account, to my eye more detailed, of his minor-league experience & the impact of his moving up.

But i am neither a fan nor experienced with WP sports articles. Someone who is one or both of those should examine the short (bad-title) version and the now current one, and note their conclusions here.
