What remains of Middlesex[edit]

What does? Maybe just the ceremonial county. Maybe we should say that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 5.71.127.36 (talk) 11:22, 30 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

SpelthorneBorough of Spelthorne – Per WP:NATURAL and WP:COMMONNAME the district is usually called "Spelthorne District"[1] or "Borough of Spelthorne" in a generic context even though "Spelthorne" is the preferred label by the OS, presumably when its clear from the context that you're referring to the district. The district is named after the Spelthorne Hundred and this move is consistent with WP:UKDISTRICTS ("Non-metropolitan districts with local ambiguity...". Views [[2]] show that this gets nearly as many as Spelthorne (UK Parliament constituency) among others.
