Bodmin College Jazz Orchestra[edit]

I deleted your edits related to the Jazz Orchestra and it's been suggested to me (rightly) that I should have made a note and explained my action. I noticed a couple of things that were not appropriate for an encyclopedia article. First, you deleted content and replaced it with yours. I would suggest a new section to the article devoted to the Jazz Band. Second, you included the band director's name and number. This is not appropriate for a Wikipedia article. Lastly, the link to the Jazz Band's web site should be in the section for External links (without the phrase "Visit their website").

I've since replaced the information on the college and on the orchestra with some edits.

Again, thank you for your contribution. My apologies for being too quick with MY edits! Wikipelli Talk 13:21, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Just a quick follow-up... Wikipedia articles should be cited with external sources to verify the information. Your statement (which I left in) that the band was the first in the UK to play in Australia should have a citation.  :) We're all learning! Wikipelli Talk 13:27, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Stub-tag[edit]

If there is a stub tag on the page why is the article a start?--The Master of Mayhem 16:17, 24 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed the stub tag, well spotted! DuncanHill (talk) 17:01, 24 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
