Singles[edit]

For some reasons his singles go as far as 2009, while he started his career around 1995. I'll try to fix that. Klow (talk) 10:09, 1 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Gary Pine[edit]

The Gary Pine link links to a disambiguation page for "The Wailers". Does anyone know where his actual page is? zack 01:11, 19 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Love Generation[edit]

The Love Generation Link in Singles links to a disambiguation page, which is ridiculous. I'd fix it, but don't know how to. Cheers 202.89.48.76 08:42, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Christophe Le Friant[edit]

I think some of the material should be moved to separate article under his real name. He has gone under several names and Bob Sinclar is one of them. This article would be better if it just mentioned his Bob Sinclar stuff. Would anybody agree to this? Douglasr007 00:49, 29 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No. Electronic music artists usually work under a variety of pseudonyms, there's nothing unusual about that. Most of his projects, such as Reminiscence Quartet, are stopped anyway. And Africanism All Stars has its own page, because it's a collective effort. --Pc13 06:58, 29 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
But he's not just an electronic musician. He's also an owner of a label. I've read a book about him and the different aliases he uses are for his different styles. For the case of Bob Sinclar, it's his DJing style and of course his most popular alias. I don't know. It seems confusing when people don't use his actual name when describing him. So "who" produced Love Generation, World Hold On and Sound of Freedom? Sinclair or Sinclar —Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.149.62.243 (talk) 20:05, 21 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I want an article with every guy`s name!188.25.106.94 (talk) 19:34, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Genre[edit]

I don't think there is enough mention of the fact that Bob has changed from House to Hip-Pop. Lumping all his music together undermines his house music.--NeF (talk) 15:52, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Hip-pop?" Do you mean hip-hop? Because he doesn't do hip-hop anymore, he did it when he used the pseudonym The Mighty Bop. --Pc13 (talk) 16:36, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Gym Tonic[edit]

Co-produced by Thomas Bangalter? That's just blatantly untrue. It's well known that the song was stolen from Bangalter by Bob Sinclar. That's probably not Neutral Point of View, but hey, it's true. Bangalter was responsible for the entire production of that song and Bob Sinclar credited himself as creator and Bangalter as remixer. --Krevans (talk) 21:53, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, you're right. It would be wonderful to get a source for that, though. --Pc13 (talk) 11:44, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well known? I've always heard that Bangalter co-produced it. Bangalter didn't want to release the single when he made it but Sinclar wanted to. However, Jane Fonda denied the sample and the single never released. Both members in the colleration didn't like how the single went and both came to bad terms. Sinclar / Sinclair name confusion?[edit]

Hi, as discussed before, Bob Sinclar (real name: Christophe Le Friant) has many aliases (like "The Mighty Bop", "Chris the French kiss" and "Reminiscence Quartet"), but I don't think he was never known (or spelled) as "Sinclair". I think there was a confusion with the French funk singer "Sinclair" (real name: Mathieu Blanc-Francard) - See more on "Sinclair" at http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sinclair_(chanteur) and http://www.sinclair.fr/. "Sinclar" and "Sinclair" are two very different artists, making very different music styles. Supercopter (talk) 16:29, 29 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
