I am reviewing this article as part of GA Sweeps. This article needs much work to bring it in line with the current standards of WP:WIAGA. I am about to outline a partial list of issues that need to be addressed. After I post this listing, I will give concerned and interested editors a week before I reevaluate the article's quality rating. I will be following along with the progress of the article and may make additional comments as it is appropriate.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 06:48, 29 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to help raise the article back up to GA status, i'll have a look at these comments tomorrow and try to whip up a bit of help, regards. Off2riorob (talk) 23:12, 30 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the response and good luck with the effort.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 23:35, 30 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Cool, Off2riorob (talk) 23:44, 30 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No more disambiguation links. Corrected the 'Al Anderson (The Wailers)' links, and removed the link to Timothy White as the name does not refer to any of the Timothy White articles on Wikipedia. Will look at other concerns later. --Another Believer (Talk) 06:47, 1 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Repaired the deadlink for checklinks. Off2riorob (talk) 14:45, 1 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The alt text has been added to the infobox picture, is there a problem with any other alt text, the other pics are showing text and a pink box, is that correct? Off2riorob (talk) 08:35, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Doing all alt text.Off2riorob (talk) 09:03, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The alt text has far too many details that are only recognizable to an expert on this subject. Please read through WP:ALT, especially Wikipedia:Alternative_text_for_images#Verifiability.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 12:44, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. A better alt text for the B&W picture might be more along the lines of: "Black and white picture of a man with long dreadlocks playing the guitar on stage." For the picture with the Wailers: "A crowd of people standing in water and listening to a band perform on stage." (or something more generic like that). Hope that helps! I am off to work now, but will take another look later. TonytheTiger, thanks for your assistance, and for keeping the checklist updated. We definitely need to keep the article in Good standing! --Another Believer (Talk) 16:31, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I have changed them, I think they are fine now. Off2riorob (talk) 12:42, 3 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think so too, but I will let TonyTheTiger be the judge of that. --Another Believer (Talk) 18:20, 3 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have started to tidy the sections up and add inline citations, any help with that is appreciated. I did the wailers section, still required is Bob Marley and the wailers and the illness section. Off2riorob (talk) 12:45, 3 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a lot of citations and tidied up a fair bit and removed a bit of uncitable stuff, have a look and see what you think. Off2riorob (talk) 00:16, 4 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Time in Wilmington[edit]

This radio doc here contradicts some details in this article, such as the line claiming he worked in a Dupont lab. He worked in a "hotel Dupont" according to the BBC story. Any citations either way? Micahmedia (talk) 00:01, 8 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

wayback only this is there..Bob left The Wailers temporary in 1966, February. He moved to the United States to live with his mother and work in a factory. Off2riorob (talk) 01:28, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
