Jigoku-Hen = Hell CHAPTER[edit]

How you even came to "The Hell Verse" is beyond me... 244pupil6 (talk) 01:30, 25 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

To be fair, "the hell verse" seems to come from the end of the trailer. it seems to be the title of a book in relation to the film. dposse (talk) 19:59, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Also, Verse and Chapter have very similar meanings. 184.98.163.47 (talk) 06:51, 28 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The Hell Verse is a booklet given out to those who attend the premier. It is not the movies name. 244pupil6 (talk) 01:43, 1 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"The Hell Verse" is Kubo's literal translation for the movie. Think about it this way--though he writes "Shinigami" in Japanese, whenever anglicized in Japanese media the word is always written as "Soul Reaper." Similarly, "The Unforgivens" is his translation for "Togabito." "Hell Verse" is another way to translate "Jigoku-hen," and it is the only way that the word has been written out in English. He's also using the word "verse" in the biblical sense, not musically.-68.42.214.19 (talk) 17:11, 19 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The Unforgivens[edit]

Tite Kubo released a special promo chapter for the movie showing Shirrin fighting Szayelaporro Grantz and Aaroniero Arruruerie after encountering them in Hell after the latter two were killed by the Soul Reapers. Shouldn't the promo be mentioned? 207.216.200.81 (talk) 03:27, 26 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Plot?[edit]

Can someone work on a summary for the movie and delete the pointless "Keywords" section? Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.97.17.60 (talk) 06:23, 17 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Here's what we know about the plot based on the promos and trailers:
  • The Unforgiven want to escape Hell and destroy the World of the Living
  • Shrieker was sent to the World of the Living to test whether or not the Unforgiven could escape or not.
  • Yamamoto sent Rukia and Renji to investigate a possible uprising in Hell, and warns them not to involve Ichigo.
  • Shuren defeats the 8th and 9th Espada and judges their powers insufficient to open the Gates of Hell before turning his gaze to Ichigo's Hollow form
  • Gunjo (the tentacled Unforgiven) abducts Yuzu Kurosaki and takes her to Hell
  • Kokutō "prevents" Karin's abduction and convinces Ichigo to go the Hell to save his sister
  • Kokutō is revealed to be the leader of the Unforgiven
  • Ichigo finds Yuzu dead or badly wounded and Hollowfies, hitting Kokutō with his Cero and breaking the chains of Hell
  • Soul Society pulls Ichigo and Yuzu out of Hell, but Rukia, Renji, and Ishida are captured.
  • Ichigo returns to Hell to save Rukia, undergoes a transformation that covers him in bones, and has a rematch with Kokutō.
These details could be used to form a basic plot outline that can be edited as more details emerge. 173.180.89.129 (talk) 21:46, 22 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I added a basic plot summary. Some of the details may be incorrect, but those who have seen the movie can fix it. 173.180.89.129 (talk) 03:53, 25 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Bleach: Soul Ignition[edit]

Togabito Ichigo and Kokutō are confirmed as being playable characters for the upcoming PS3 Bleach game Bleach: Soul Ignition. Plot Summary[edit]

I have edited the plot summary to properly summarize the plot of the movie, rather than the syntheis of guesses derived from the trailers that was there. It can still be refined and still needs references, but it is much better than what was there before. 207.216.212.126 (talk) 07:05, 28 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
