Image copyright problem with Image:First SI Swimsuit Issue.jpg[edit]

The image Image:First SI Swimsuit Issue.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Bikini contest[edit]

It is the one part of the article that I haven't managed to get to, and now it's tagged with a number of citation tags. It needs an overhaul anyways. Anyone out there who may be interested to pitch in. Aditya(talkcontribs) 09:08, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Many feminist and cultural perspectives have not been covered[edit]

There is nothing much about the position of feminists and others.

Some relevant articles:

Just gone through the relevant articles. The first article is a rant, and not coherent informative/analytic writing. The second one is nicely written personal opinion of someone who probably is not an authority/expert on bikini or feminism. The third one manages to make a point, though in the form of personal opinion of a non-expert. The fourth one isn't about bikinis. The last three are random personal musing, and not even a commentary. And, all of them are WP:SPS, hence perfectly unacceptable by Wikipedia standards. Couldn't find any useful information in any of them. Is there any better writing available? (see: WP:SOURCE and WP:RELIABLE) Aditya(talkcontribs) 12:09, 26 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have not read any of these, but I support Girl professor (talk) that Criticism (feminist or otherwise) is missing. Zezen (talk) 13:48, 17 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
