Citation needed tag for teaching calculus to artilerist[edit]

École Polytechnique became the French military academy under Napoleon Bonaparte. The school had a few prominent mathematicians as professors. Louis de Tousard brought French artillery knowledge to the U.S. and wrote an artillerist's manual that was used by U.S. military officers.Phmoreno (talk) 03:33, 5 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
