I can't quite work out why you want to delete this page. My grandmother, Beatrice Ensor, had a profound influence on modern education:

She founded/co-founded two schools which are listed in Wikipedia with her name mentioned, she founded the World Education Fellowship which has been granted UNESCO status. She founded the New Era magazine which is still going strong.

Among her acquaintances and colleagues were Annie Besant (article in Wikipedia), Jiddu Krishnamurti (article in Wikipedia), Professor Carl Jung (article in Wikipedia), Krishna Menon (article in Wikipedia), Maria Montessori (article in Wikipedia), H G Wells (article in Wikipedia), A S Neill (article in Wikipedia). I could go on but I won't. When you search for her in Google you get over 10 pages of results.

She was awarded a medal by the Red Cross of Hungary for humanitarian work (rescuing Hungarian children after the war). She was awarded a Doctorate by the University of Western Australia. The photograph is a scan of a photograph owned by me

Your grandmother sounds like a fine person, Mr. Ensor. However, none of the citations in your article support the claims that you've made above. I've removed the SD tag to give you a chance to dispute the removal of this article in AfD. You need to be aware though that this article needs a lot of work before it can be considered encyclopedic. Again, it's nothing personal against you or your grandmother, it's just the nature of Wikipedia. For an article of this nature, I would insist on several citations of independent, peer-reviewed publications that specificaly mention Beatrice Ensor as an historical figure of importance. With all due respect, New Era Magazine does not count as a reliable, credible source, nor does anything else you've cited above. I strongly urge you to read Wikipedia:Attribution and Wikipedia:Notability (people) before replying again. Groupthink 13:49, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
