Criticism and controversies[edit]

@Armatura, Dijkstra, and 5.25.166.188: I was looking at 5.25.166.188's edits, and, quite frankly, I am confused why you removed that section. I didn't want to start an edit war so I moved the Criticism and controversies section to Talk:Baykar/Criticism and controversies.

I just want to say that every company, defense company or not, will have criticism and controversy. Although 5.25.166.188 does have a point here, the article probably needs to be split into Özdemir Bayraktar. This is my first time trying to find a community consensus, if I did something wrong please tell me! Thanks. Sungodtemple a tcg fan!!1 !11 !! (talk)

Hi Sungodtemple, thanks for the question, the section describes what it says - controversies and criticism of the company. It doesn't make sense to remove the bulk of the text with an "I don't like it" kind of comment, or with original research into the how Armenia underestimated Azerbaijan - completely unrelated comment. Also, defence and attack are different things (Bayraktar drones were used in attack against Armenia), and there is an embargo on selling arms to Azerbaijan and Armenia, which Baykar (along with Israeli and Russian companies) violated. The reaction from international manufacturers is quite explicit - they didn't want to collaborate with Baykar after learning these realities. --Armatura (talk) 21:28, 15 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Foundation date is wrong[edit]

I think the foundadion date of Bayraktar wrong because in original website, it stated as 1986 [1]. AlfredMango (talk) 04:54, 10 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
