The name of the Swiss general was Friedrich Fridolin Meyer von Schauensee (French: de Schauensee), born in Lucerne on 20 January 1777, died in Colmar on 5 September 1860, see the article on him in Historisches Lexikon der Schweiz, vol. 8. In his list of Generals Who Served in the French Army during the Period 1789 - 1814: Mellet to Mireur Tony Broughton misspells the name (Fridalin). --M Huhn (talk) 23:02, 15 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
