GA Review[edit]

Article (edit | visual edit | history) · Article talk (edit | history) · Watch

There are a few things that I believe need to be done before I pass the article (and it's very close to passing). In my opinion, the following needs to be done:

  1. There is at least one paragraph that needs a reference. For example, the second paragraph under the Strategic & tactical considerations section. The sentence, The phalanx was still vulnerable to cavalry attacks, but used in the right way, it was now shown to be a potentially devastating weapon. Finally, the last two paragraphs of the article are completely unreferenced.
  2. This isn't necessary to pass the GA review, but I would suggest playing with the images and perhaps alternating. That is, moving some of them to the left side. That way they will be less "boring". This was a suggestion that was made to me for one of my articles, which was going through Featured Article Candidacy at the time.

If you're interested, you might want to put the article through an A-class review with the MilHist WikiProject. JonCatalán(Talk) 03:17, 11 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I didn't notice it already went through one. JonCatalán(Talk) 03:20, 11 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
