Extended-confirmed-protected edit request on 4 March 2024[edit]

Request to change 'born' from 'East Jerusalem, Palestine' to simply 'Jerusalem' or 'East Jerusalem'. Jerusalem is disputed territory, and on most wiki bios no particular country is assigned when the person is from Jerusalem. Natalie Portman being an example.  Not done: The reason East Jerusalem is used is because West Jerusalem is controlled by Israel and the East is controlled by Palestine. The article you mentioned makes no specific mention, and keep in mind of WP:OTHER. '''[[User:CanonNi]]''' (talk|contribs) 01:00, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The way the article is framed is misleading. I am Bashar's manager. How can request editing access to this page?

In the career section it starts with referencing Bashar's 1 year only at Rimon School. This is giving the implication that his career and artistry is credited to that. When in fact Bashar was born into a musical family, in the peak of his father's musical group, Sabreen. He started performing in festivals in Palestine starting in 2017, and that is how he made a name for himself.

Please take out this line in career: "Later, he added a Middle Eastern touch to the songs by using traditional instruments in his covers before he started creating his own songs.[8] He studied at Rimon School of Jazz and Contemporary Music in Israel for a year, and was the first Palestinian from the West Bank to study there."  Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate.
You also have a conflict of interest (please see your talk page). M.Bitton (talk) 17:54, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
