Location[edit]

The BT is also in Georgia... (37 miles of it). Is their a Wikiproject Georgia? Leif902 22:06, 22 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed, just added the project template. Thanks for the reminder. --Roswell native 02:17, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks alot, glad to see there is a project on Hiking trails too... I just found out and was comming back to add that one. But it looks like it's already done! Leif902 03:20, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Template[edit]

I have just added the template for the trail on the right of the page. Please expand if you can. Leif902 03:40, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am still fixing up the template, however I have found conflicting information online. I will soon buy the trail guide and fix it up with information from it, but for now, if anyone else has it, this article's information is spoty at best. Anyone else have the guide and want to edit it? There needs to be a Wikiproject Backpacking... The trails one seems to be pretty inactive. Leif902 15:10, 26 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Citation?[edit]

Me again... (more people should edit this article)... Okay, if anyone reads this who is a better wikipedian than I, when I cite a source, if later more info is used from that source, I probably shouldn't cite it again rigth? (I did for now...) What do I do? Is there a mechanism to refer to the origonal citation? Thanks -Leif902 23:22, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nevermind. Problem solved. But now I have another problem (though it dosn't seem like anyone reads this article). The Forest Service Profile of the Bartram lists it's total length in GA as 37.7 miles, while the guide book by John R. Ray and Malcolm J. Skove lists the length as 36.5 mi (pg 1)... I assume the Forestry Service information is the more trusted source, but the guidebook was aided by the forestry service (who rolled a wheel along the entire trail). Which should I use?
