✔️New enough, ✔️Long enough, ✔️Within policy: is neutral, in-line cited, and 0.0% copyvio on Earwig, ✔️Hook is formatted well and less than 200 characters, ✔️ Hook cited in template above, ✔️ Citation works, ✔️Hook interesting to broad audience, ✔️Hook is neutral, ✔️QPQ done, ✔️No image issues. Thus, ✔️Looks good to go to me! Futurist110 (talk) 02:46, 22 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Adding a (pictured) would be problematical for the hook as written. Suggest a slight tweak:
ALT0a: ... that John Shelton Reed wrote that barbecue spaghetti (pictured) "is to spaghetti Bolognese as Cincinnati chili is to the Tex-Mex variety"?
(Also note, Futurist110: to complete the review, a tick such as {{subst:DYKtick}} is required.) MANdARAX  XAЯAbИAM 08:50, 22 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
striking ALT0 in favor or ALT0a --valereee (talk) 11:41, 22 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • All DYK criteria re-checked and verified. ALT0a hook fact verified and cited inline. The image is freely licensed and great for the main page. QPQ done. ALT0a good to go. Yoninah (talk) 00:58, 26 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
