Commercial focus and denominational bias[edit]

The fact that this article manages to avoid mention of the Broadman Hymnal makes me wonder if the article was written by and for Lifeway. "Baptist Hymnal" is not a title limited to the publications of that company and/or of the Southern Baptist Convention's Sunday School Board. The Hymnary.org database indexes 22 hymnals with "Baptist" and "Hymnal" in their titles. I think I'll add a clarifying note at the top of the article, with a link to this list to accommodate those who are interested in Baptist hymnals in a general sense rather than in the recent SBC ones that use that title. --Haruo (talk) 19:21, 7 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
